This is a handmade item from a freehand drawn pattern. It is made from thin plywood so it is lightweight. It is made to look like primitive antique stocking and sock forms used for drying them, but it certainly could be used for knitting socks. Every style will come with a 9/16 hole at the top for a ribbon or jute. This piece looks great hanging on the wall, on a door, or anywhere in the laundry room!
We recommend painting this item if one desires the holes in the middle, which are randomly aligned.

The "flat bottom" variations are perfect for this. Our items do not come with hanging hardware, however we do sell hangers and stands in the 'accessories' section of our store.
