This handmade Cherry stool is made using dowel joinery. The legs have a nice taper to them and the stiles are recessed slightly, giving the piece depth. The top is one solid piece and the whole piece is left unfinished. You can leave it natural, or add poly or shellac if you choose. A periodic mineral oil finish would be the easiest option to ensure the piece looks great for years to come.
Cherry naturally darkens over time. Some pieces may darken more than others, giving it character. Please note the item you receive may differ slightly from the pictures, no two pieces are exactly alike!
Each stool is handmade in the USA.

There are usually a variety of sizes and styles for any given product. Most of our products work well when leaned against something, like on the mantle or as part of a centerpiece. The "flat bottom" variations are perfect for this. Our items do not come with hanging hardware, however we do sell hangers and stands in the 'accessories' section of our store.
