Milwaukee Road Olympian Hiawatha Train Wood Cutout - Made to Order from The Sawmill Shop
Measures 8 inches across.
The railroad that became the Milwaukee Road began as the Milwaukee and Waukesha Railroad in Wisconsin, whose goal was to link the developing Lake Michigan port city of Milwaukee with the Mississippi River. The company incorporated in 1847, but changed its name to the Milwaukee and Mississippi Railroad in 1850 before construction began. This piece inspired by vintage advertising material features the "2 a day each way" slogan." Would go great in your man cave! Also a fantastic gift for model railroaders in the train room. Made from 1/4in MDF and left unfinished on the edges and back. Not for outdoor use.

The "flat bottom" variations are perfect for this. On select items, we offer a "freestanding" option which includes a small piece of wood allowing the piece to stand on it's own. Our items do not come with hanging hardware, however customers have had good results using command strips and other methods.
