These rods, currently available in 8 1/4in and 4 1/4in, are perfect replacements for your Stanley No 45 plane. They will work for a 55 plane as well, but please note that these are not threaded. These are handmade to the exact specifications of the originals. Parts for these excellent planes are getting harder to find and more expensive, save money and time by buying these. The ends are rounded off so that there are no sharp edges. Free standard shipping.

There are usually a variety of sizes and styles for any given product. Most of our products work well when leaned against something, like on the mantle or as part of a centerpiece. The "flat bottom" variations are perfect for this. Our items do not come with hanging hardware, however customers have had good results using command strips and other methods.
